It does! I’ve been using it here or there. It’s difficult to follow while driving, but I’ve been managing. You tell Gustave and I’ll be on my way.

[Like everyone else in Lumiere, she thought Gustave and Sophie were perfect. They were, apparently, save for one thing. Sad as it is, they both made the right choice, but a part of Maelle will always worry that he feels lonely.

Gustave is her favorite person in the world. Any world. She teases, but she thinks anyone would be lucky to have him, even as a fake husband.]

Maelle, Ororo and I will be away for the day. We're heading to a place called 'Japan' but will be back later tonight. It looks interesting; maybe you and I can take another trip there later, together.

It's how it should be. Even if I wanted to date again after my husband, everyone in Lumière knows everyone else's business. If there were people coming and going all the time, it'd be easier to meet new people, wouldn't it?

[It's one thing when it's her going out for the day, but clearly another when it's Gustave given some of the ugly feelings that bubble up. Up, but not over.

I guess it's different now when there's more time, too. In Lumière, it never made sense to me. Time was always so short. For everything.

Very different. But also a little bit the same. When you never know how much time you have, it's important enjoy spending time with people. You wouldn't turn up a good viennoiserie because it's only fresh for that day, would you?

I would take a viennoiserie over a date any day.

[She might even prefer to fight the Paintress again. A date sounds like agony.]

I find it VERY hard to believe that Gustave and his new wife are having a whirlwind romance worthy of your judgement, but if you need an escape, you can always call.
